At Monday's Tri-County Lions meeting, Pres. Bill Barnes recognized Lion Jessica Robbins for sponsoring her husband, Dusty, as a member. District Governor Rich Wilson made a surprise visit. Also, a donation to the Summer Reading Program will support that effort at the Seymour Branch Library.

At the April 10 evening meeting of Tri-County Lions, Lion Frank McCall (pictured) of the Loudon Lions Club told about his preparation for becoming District Governor during the Lion Year 2023-24 beginning July 1. He will be installed during the International Convention in Boston this summer. District Governor-Elect Frank was able to visit Lions International headquarters in Oakbrook, IL and the Leader Dogs for the Blind facilities in Rochester, MI. He presented his ideas for the coming year.

President Bill Barnes presided over the election of officers for 2023-24 and members discussed upcoming service projects.

Tri-County Lions filled 4 large trash bags with litter collected from Chilhowee School Road in Seymour Saturday morning, March 11.

Please don't litter.

Thanks Lions Bill B. and Ken M.
