We remember and honor the life of our friend and colleague H R "Buddy" Greene who passed away January 31, 2021. He was an outstanding member of Tri-County Lions since it's inception in 1976, dedicated church member at Seymour United Methodist Church, a dedicated member of Friends of the Seymour Branch Library, a Seymour Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year, a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, awarded for his humanitarian service by Lions Clubs International Foundation, a past President and longtime Board of Directors member of Lions Volunteer Blind Industries in Morristown, and a member of the Board of Directors of CROSS Ministries in Seymour.

 

He was also a Mason, Shriner, and US Army Veteran. He volunteered at Victory Junction, a camp in North Carolina for children with serious illnesses that was founded by the family of race car driver Adam Petty who died in a racing accident.
