We welcomed a special guest Monday, February 13! Lion Connie Emmons brought Sunshine, her new 11 week old Leader Dog in Training, to the Tri-County Lions meeting at the Gondolier Restaurant. Lion Connie and her previous Leader Dog puppy, Sugar, were mentioned (along with a photo of Sugar) in the February issue of Faithful Friends, a news publication of Leader Dogs for the Blind, in Rochester, MI.


The members also committed funds contiinuing support for the work of Leader Dogs, which provides guide dogs and training to the blind at no cost.


Also, funds were committed to the numerous White Cane Days projects.


Planning was conducted for several upcoming service projects. Stay tuned!





Thanks to the many Tri-County Lions and friends that gathered this afternoon to package candy and handcrafted Valentines Day cards and deliver to our 81 senior citizen friends in Seymour! "You just made my day" was one response!
