Tuesday evening the rain clouds parted and the weather turned out to be perfect for these Tri-County Lions to enjoy a nine-inning vacation at Smokies Stadium. We watched the Tennessee Smokies beat Mississippi and enjoyed the time together.

This long-time annual event was halted during the pandemic, but we are so glad to be able to get together again at events such as this for great fun and fellowship.
We met new friends from Rotary Int'l seated near us, and had great discussions about our causes (theirs is preventing polio, which has shown a recent resurgence) and the International Lions and Rotary families working together in service.

We've been hard at work this week (check out our other recent posts) serving our community, and it was a welcomed change-of-pace!
